Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is famous for her roles in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 and a leading part in a variety of dramas on television. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including the role of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically popular Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra has been associated with numerous notable projects, both nationally as well as internationally. These comprise British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historical miniseries Napoleon. The actress also served on the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
